RuleMover is a browser extension (Chrome and Edge) that copies bank rules between Xero organisations through Xero’s visible screens. The short version: the extension collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
The extension
- It makes no network requests of its own. It has no server, no account system, no analytics and no tracking.
- It runs only on go.xero.com, in your own logged-in browser session. It reads the bank rules shown on Xero’s screens and fills in Xero’s own forms, the way you would by hand.
- The rules it captures are kept in your browser’s extension storage on your computer, so you can switch organisations and paste them. They stay there until you clear them or remove the extension. RuleMover never receives them.
- It does not read your Xero credentials, and it does not use remote code.
This website
rulemover.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites. The site is served by Cloudflare.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. RuleMover does not see or store your card details. Stripe shares with us the details needed to fulfil your order, such as your name and email address, and handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
If you email hello@rulemover.com, or leave your email to be notified, we use it only to reply to you or to tell you once when the extension is ready.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
